 6 credits for ENG 111 and ENG 112

For Students Taking Both AP Composition & AP Literature Exams:

Scores for individual exams above still apply. In the case of duplicate or overlapping scores the maximum credits in the higher exam categorgy apply.

Example: a score of 4 in both exams = 6 credits for ENG 111 and ENG 112.

Students with a score of 5 on both exams receive credit for ENG 112 and ENG 213/217 (Sophomore Literature) for a total of 6 credits. This fulfills their English Composition and Sophomore Literature graduation requirements.

Please Note: Only those students who receive a 5 on both exams will receive Sophomore Literature credit. Taken by itself the AP Literature exam does not count for Sophomore Literature credit, regardless of exam score.
