Connecticut Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro said it best. At a recent Southern commencement, she described Southern as the place "where the American Dream is best honored and most valued."

She's right. Southern Connecticut State University has spent more than a century making the American Dream a reality for thousands of people. We know that a lot of hard work and difficult choices go into realizing that dream, and perhaps the most difficult task of all is the one you face now: choosing the university that's right for you.
