Basketball Doubleheader vs. LeMoyne
5:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.
Free 'Blue Crew' t-shirt giveaway to the first 50 fans attending the basketball doubleheader against LeMoyne. Youngsters in grades K-6 can also sign up to win prizes as part of the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) Tipoff event. Cheer on the women's team at 5:30 and the men's team at 7:30.

Lost Boys of Sudan: A Documentary Film

Lost Boys of Sudan is a feature-length documentary that follows two Sudanese refugees on an extraordinary journey from Africa to America. Orphaned as young boys in one of Africa's cruelest civil wars, Peter Dut and Santino Chuor survived lion attacks and militia gunfire to reach a refugee camp in Kenya along with thousands of other children. From there, remarkably, they were chosen to come to America.

SCSU African American History Month Program -- The life and times of nine historical civil rights figures, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Thurgood Marshall and others. Through stirring monologues, scenes, and vignettes, all of these characters are brought to life by three actors. Tickets: FREE for General Public, SCSU Students, Faculty and Staff. Sponsored by the John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts in collaboration with the SCSU Multicultural Center.

Join the celebration of the birth, the life and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme "The Dream Alive," will feature Joe Rogers, former Lieutenant Governor of Colorado, as keynote speaker. "The Dream Alive" program is an incredible live commentary by Joe Rogers in dedication to the life, memory and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. This program is free & open to the public.
