BRIEF ALCOHOL SCREENING AND INTERVENTION FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
The DARC provides confidential screening and assessments to students in addition to harm-reduction skill-based programs such as BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) and College Alc. DARC also offers SCSU students online self-assessments called the E-TOKE and the E-CHUG.
R.I.D.E.S is a program designed to offer students a responsible mode of transportation when one is needed. R.I.D.E.S is available to students 24 hours a day and can be used for any reason with "no questions asked." It is especially designed for circumstances when you might lack cash, but need a safe way to get out of an uncomfortable situation, such as being too intoxicated to drive or riding with an angry or intoxicated friend.
