Internship
Greetings.
If you are an Art student at Southern Connecticut State University,
seeking to complete an internship (ART 497) during the Fall 2012
semester, please click here to find the Internship Guide, which includes the application form on page 3. Read the guide carefully.
Once you have located an internship, enter your supervisor's
information, complete the form online, and then print it. Have your
internship supervisor sign the form, and present it to Prof. Mitchell
Bills (Internship Coordinator) in EA 216B, and to Mr. Greg Cochenet
(Department Chair) in EA 111A for departmental signatures. When the form
is completed and signed, take it to the office of the Dean of the
School of Arts and Sciences in EN A112. Please remember that you cannot
receive credit for an internship unless it is pre-approved by the Art
Department.
Once the dean approves your internship, she will notify the registrar, who will add the class to your schedule. Note that you cannot register directly for ART 497.
