Paying with Cash, Check or Credit Card
The Business Office accepts a number of methods of payment, including:
Cash
Cash payments must be made in person at the Business Office in the Wintergreen Building. Please do not mail cash.
Personal check, Cashier's check, or Money order
Check payments can be mailed in, paid in person at the Cashier's Office or dropped in the Dropped Box located on the left side of the Cashiers' Office in the Wintergreen Building.
All checks should be payable to Southern Connecticut State University and include your name and your student ID number. Unidentifiable checks will be returned back to the address on the check.
Personal checks returned from the bank as un-collectable would be assessed a $50.00 service fee and prevent the student from payment by check in the future. A block will be put onto a student's account.
Credit Card
Visa, Master Card and Discover are all accepted for billed charges. Credit cards are accepted in person at the Business Office, or online through BannerWeb Services. For more information about making payments online (see below).
NOTE: Returned payments from the bank as un-collectable would be assessed a $50.00 service fee and prevent the student from payment by check in the future. A block will be put onto a student's account.
Paying with Hoot Loot
Students may request the cashier to pay their charges due to SCSU by using their Hoot Loot card. Simply present your card at the Business Office to pay for a portion or all of the balance due.

Online Payments
Credit Card
You may pay your bill online with your Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit card using BannerWeb Services. The following is a guide for making payments online.
- Go to BannerWeb Services.
- Enter your 8-digit User ID and PIN (your DOB mmddyy or new PIN if you have changed it)
- Click on Student Services & Financial Aid
- Click on eBill+ Payment Suite
- Click on the View bills and make payment button.
- Click on the Payments button from the menu on the top of the eBill Student Account page.
NOTES for using the Credit Card Payment screen on the Web:
- Please do NOT use the Back arrow to navigate to previous web pages. Doing so may cause unpredictable results.
- When submitting your credit card payment, press the Submit button ONLY ONCE. Please be patient...pressing the Submit button more than once may result in multiple payments.
- If you experience difficulties making online credit card payments or have paid too much with your credit card, please contact Ms. Valerie Pettie-Cooper via e-mail or by telephone at (203) 392-6835.

eCheck
You may pay your bill online with using a check through BannerWeb Services. The following is a guide for making payments online.

Wire Transfer Information
The Business Office can accept wire transfers for payment of tuition and fees.
Wire transfer payments, both domestic and international are accepted. Please call the Bursar's Office to obtain Southern's bank routing information. You may contact Mr. Anthony Mauro via e-mail or by telephone at (203) 392-6841.
Exchange Rate Information Southern Connecticut State University accepts all payments in United States currency and does not assume any liability for losses that may result from foreign exchange rate differences.
