New Student Payment Plans
Estimated Payment Plan
As a convenience, Southern Connecticut State University is offering the option to make tuition payments on a monthly basis by enrolling in a New Student Payment Plan.
The New Student Payment Plan allows students who have not yet **registered for classes to break down their estimated education expenses into easy to manage installments, rather than a lump-sum payment. With a payment plan you can:
- Spread your payments over a period of months, interest-free
- Setup automatic payments using a credit card or debit funds directly from a checking or savings account
**NOTE: Registered student plans are based on actual charges and credits and will provide students and authorized users with real-time notification of any adjustments (new payments and/or charges) to their account.
PAYMENT PLAN ENROLLMENT
Estimated Payment Plans are designed to assist new students and their families budget the cost of tuition and fees by spreading payments over the course of the semester.
- Review a list of estimated charges, as well as anticipated credits to estimate a semester costs
- Input estimated costs for Tuition & Fees, Housing & Meal Plans, along with any estimated Financial Aid, Loans and/or Scholarship Awards into the "Budget Worksheet" page (Click here for a sample worksheet).
- Select "Display Payment Schedule" to calculate the minimum down payment due. (NOTE: A minimum down payment of 20% is due at the time of enrollment. You may choose to increase the down payment amount to reduce future installment payments).
- Setup automatic payments using a credit card or debit funds directly from your checking or savings account.
Important: Once you register for classes and/or get assigned to housing (if-applicable) you will be migrated to a "Registered Student" payment plan.
PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS
Students may budget all or any portion of the costs associated with attending over 5 or 4 monthly installment periods for an enrollment fee of $45.00.
- Any portion of costs NOT covered by financial aid, grants, scholarships or otherwise actually paid, may be included in a Payment Plan
- You may choose to increase the initial down payment amount to reduce future installment payments.
- A $50.00 Late Fee will be assessed for each payment made 10 days after the payment due date.
Note: 1st payment plus the $45.00 application fee is due at time of enrollment. Future installment dates are determined by enrollment date. Example: If you have enrolled in the 4 Pay Plan on 11/15 your 3 remaining installments will be 12/15, 1/15/and 2/15.

Enrolling in an Estimated Southern Payment Plan is fast, easy and safe, simply:
- Go to e-Statement & Payment Plan website.
- Log in using your student ID number and PIN or Authorized User credentials
- Click on the Payment Plans tab
- Select the plan that fits your budget
