Welcome to Southern Connecticut State University's School of Business!
Our outstanding faculty and staff work together to provide high quality undergraduate and graduate programs to prepare our students for careers in the business world and for advanced graduate study. Each undergraduate program combines general education, business common core and major/concentration requirements to deliver a well-rounded curriculum to meet our students' needs. The Master of Business Administration program is multidisciplinary and prepares individuals for leadership positions in business, nonprofit or governmental organizations.
Students meet regularly with a faculty academic advisor in their concentration area, who guides them through the process once admitted until and beyond graduation. Faculty members enhance their classroom teaching with scholarly activity and involvement in the business community. Courses are taught at times and in formats that allow students to engage in full-time study, or to combine their education with work and other responsibilities.

Southern Connecticut State University cuts ribbon on new School of Business

Southern Connecticut State University President Mary A. Papazian and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman cut the ribbon in front of the university's new School of Business building Friday.
State, local and university dignitaries participating in the ceremonial opening of the 23,000 square foot facility, a spokesman said.
The building includes office space for faculty and staff, two seminar/classrooms and a finance trading/seminar room.
