Admission to the Business Administration Program
In addition to an admission application to the university, a student must file a separate application for the B.S. degree program in business administration. The application for the B.S. degree is made normally at the end of the sophomore
year or the beginning of the junior year. Students with a strong academic record may request early admission to the School of Business. In order to be accepted in the School of Business, an applicant must have a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0. Transfer students must complete 15 credits of academic work at Southern Connecticut State University before applying for admission to the School of Business. A student interested in a B.S. degree in business administration, whether a freshman or a transfer student, should consult a faculty adviser or the dean of the School of Business.

Enrollment in Business Courses by Students in other University Schools
Students enrolled in other schools at SCSU are welcome to take business courses, provided they meet all prerequisites.
However, students from other schools are allowed to take a maximum of 30 credits of coursework in the School of Business. Exceptions to this policy may be granted only with the written permission by the dean of the School of Business.
