Wheelchair Basketball Game at SCSU

Southern Connecticut State University will be hosting a Wheelchair Basketball Game on March 29th 2012 at 7:00pm in the Moore Fieldhouse.
The game will feature Southern Connecticut State University students and adminsitrators playing against the Connecticut Spokebenders. 

We hope this event will promote disability awareness, diversity and encourage school spirit. Through an exhibition wheelchair basketball game with the Spokebenders, we can together change the myths and stereotypes people may have about persons with disabilities.

The event is made possible by the CT Spokebenders, the Hospital for Special Care, the SCSU Recreationa and Leisure Studies Department, the SCSU Recreation Club and the SCSU Office of Campus Recreation.
