The Southern Connecticut State University Dance Team (SCSU Dance Team) is a team that continuously strives for doing the very best in all that they do.The team was founded in 2005 and they have been growing each year. In the 2008-2009 school year, the Dance Team was the #1 sought after Club/Sport team by freshman at their orientation.The SCSU Dance Team performs at all home football and men’s and women’s basketball games, as well as compete on the national and local level. In addition, the team also participates in community service activities, fundraising events, and performs at a variety of events both on and off campus which support the New Haven and the SCSU communities. The team consists of a group of individuals with diverse backgrounds in dance and performance training. Each member brings a certain characteristic and talent to the dance team to make it the successful team it is in its 5^th year.
