Head Coach: Alexander Wiser

In 2000 coach Wiser graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor degree in English.  During his time at Ohio Wesleyan he was a standout on the lacrosse field, being a two time all conference selection as a defender.  Upon graduation, coach Wiser became the assistant lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001.  In 2009 he became the defensive coordinator for Green Farms Academy boy lacrosse.

Alex was hired as head coach of the men’s lacrosse team at Southern in 2010.  As the owls first head coach, he brings his intense and physical play to New Haven.  In addition to leading the Owls, Alex also works as a sports journalist for The Norwalk Hour and Patch.com.
