Eric LaCharity joined the Office of Student Life in September of 2007 after spending his first year as an administrator in the Office of Judicial Affairs.  As the Assistant to the Director, Eric assists in the operations of the club sports program, oversees the Club and Organization Resource Room, manages the Office of Student Life website and helps supervise the daily operations of the office. In the fall of 2009, Eric became the coordinator of the new Office of Campus Recreation.  Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in communication/video production and a master’s degree in recreation and leisure studies.

William O’Brien

William graduated from SUNY Geneseo this past spring with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  His coursework and undergraduate research focused on health and exercise promotion and coaching. William began his master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology in the Fall of 2011.  As a Graduate Intern, he will be working in the Office of Campus Recreation continuing the development of the intramural and club sports programs.  Additionally, he will be assisting in planning and implementation of recreational activities for students.

Ben graduated from the University of Connecticut in May of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Urban and Community Studies.  In his undergraduate Ben was involved in many clubs and organizations including numerous intramural sports.  He also worked as a field supervisor in club sports to ensure the athletes’ safety.

Ben is currently attending Southern Connecticut State University to earn his master’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies specializing in Recreation Administration.  He was hired as a Graduate Intern in the Office of Camus Recreation in August of 2012 and helps to oversee and manage the Club Sports Teams as well as Intramurals.
