We offer the following services to help employers and students make that perfect connection: JOBSs- Job Opportunities Benefiting Southern students is SCSU's portal to NACElink. NACElink is a robust online job search database, powered by the DirectEmployers Association and Simplicity. Here you can connect directly to students and alumni to fill positions with qualified candidates. Employers already a part of NACElink can utilize the multi-school posting system. Cooperative Education- We connect employers and students through our Cooperative Education Program. Our Co-op employers have found the program to be an invaluable recruiting tool in attracting talented soon-to-be college graduates. Our Co-op students have worked for IBM, ESPN, Social Security Administration and United Technologies, to name a few. Qualified students can spend a semester, summer, or six months working part-time or full-time in the fields of business, industry, human services, or government. On-Campus Interview Program- Finding the right candidate is an important part of any organization's success. SCSU's on-campus interview program offer employers a convenient and efficient way to interview professionally trained and skilled students and alumni, right in our office. Recruitment dates are available during both the fall and spring semesters. Career Fairs- Employers appreciate the opportunity to meet and interact with approximately 1,000 qualified students and alumni at our annual Career Fairs. In the Spring we typically host two career fairs, a General Fair and an Education and Nursing Fair. Information Sessions- Meet potential candidates in the informal setting of the
Employer Classroom Initiatives- The Center's professional staff often work with representatives from the employment community to present informative workshops. These workshops and presentations are conducted both at the Center for Career Services and in the classroom.
