Employer Services

services

We offer the following services to help employers and students make that perfect match:

  •

  • We coordinate an off-campus recruitment program that provides employers with access to a pool of qualified and professionally trained candidates to interview at their own worksite.
  • We also schedule numerous on-campus interviews that offer employers a convenient and efficient way to interview professionally trained and skilled students and alumni. Recruitment dates are available throughout the fall and spring semesters.
  • We sponsor bi-annual Career Fairs that attract employers from businesses and agencies throughout the region and country. These employers appreciate the opportunity to meet and interact with approximately 1,000 qualified students and alumni.
  • We connect employers and students through our Cooperative Education Program, which enables students to use their classroom learning in the working world. Qualified students can spend a semester, a summer, or six months working part time or full time in business, industry, human services, or government. Our Co-op employers have found the program to be an invaluable recruiting tool in attracting talented soon-to-be college graduates. Our Co-op students have worked for IBM, ESPN, Social Security Administration, and United Technologies, to name a few.
  • We manage a full service Career Center to help students connect with their future. Preparing for today's job market requires students to be well prepared, creative and able to use the most up to date and competitive career development tools and resources.
  • We sponsor an employer speaker program that brings speakers from various businesses and organizations to campus to familiarize students with career opportunities and offer advice on how students can improve their job readiness skills.
