December 13, 2005 - Senior captain Brian Earley (Defense - Hamden, CT) and sophmore Jerry Couden (Forward - Milford, CT) have been selected to represent the SCSU Owls at this years MCHC all star game. Congratulations to both. The game will be held at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, NY on January 14th, 2006 at 2:00pm. More information on the game can be found on the METHOCKEY website at http://www.methockey.com/Special_Events.htm November 30, 2005 - Nassau Coliseum, LI. The SCSU Owls won their first game of the year by defeating CW Post, 14 to 5 in a non MCHC League game. After the win the Owls team watched the New York Islanders play the Philadelphia Flyers. The Owls closed out November with a 1-3-1 record. November 23, 2005 - Northford, CT. The SCSU Owls tied second place Columbia 4-4 on Sunday 11/20. The tie moves Columbia to third place in the MET Central Region. Columbia is currently ranked 14th in the Division III ACHA Atlantic rankings. The game came down to a shoot-out after a 3-3 tie. SCSU scored on their first two attempts followed by a goal on the last attempt to force the tie. Sophmore goalie, Matt Cimino from Wallingford CT, earned the tie in goal for the SCSU Owls. Next up for the Owls is a non conference game vs CW Post at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island on Tuesday 11/29. November 2005 - Owls Article - Hockey Club playing for Keeps by Chris Hunn October 7th, 2005 - Northford,CT. The SCSU Owls have added an away game to the 2005-2006 schedule. The game will be at the Pingree School Rink in Beverly, MA on 11/12/05 at 7:00pm.

Coliseum on Tuesday November 29th, at 2pm vs CW Post. Afterward
the team will watch the New York Islanders take on the Philadelphia
