The SCSU Physics Club

Are you curious about how things work??

Stars, cars, suns, guns, the universe, electricity, matter, energy, magnetism, radiation, radio, television, springs, wings, light, sight, sound, power, the atom, robotics, time travel, relativity, holography, lasers, nuclear medicine, nuclear archeology, quantum theory, a can opener, crime detection, big bang, heat, space, the final frontier...

Then you're interested in PHYSICS !!

The Southern Connecticut State University Physics Club is devoted to creating an informal context for the exchange of any questions, answers, and/or theories that may lead to a better scientific understanding of the physical universe. The group also seeks evidence to support its conclusions through formal experimentation in the SCSU laboratories. Additionally, we like to eat yummy snacks whenever we get together.

Prerequisites for membership:

    1. Applicants must be alive, or at least animated.

    2. Must possess an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a rational, objective mind.

  • Never even took a Physics course? No problem. Current level of study is utterly unimportant.
  • Tutoring often available if needed.
  • Absolutely any topic is fair game for discussion.  Remember, physics is all-encompassing!

Meetings held semi-weekly during the fall and spring semesters or at other times if requested by member(s).
