How it all works:

Upon entering the Letter Sending Event on November 16th, you will be asked to write 50 Letters to freinds, family, and others. The letters are pre-written, all you are asked to do is sign your name and address them. There will be food and entertainment for everyone who attends.

The Celebration Event takes place two weeks after on November 28th. As a sign of appreciation for all your hard work put forth, we invite everyone to enjoy an event full of food, music, various activities, entertainment and raffles. We encourage all SCSU Students who participated in the Letter Sending Event to come out. Additional letters will be on hand for anyone interested in still contributing.

  Help Fight Cancer by Sending 50 Letters

  Eight hours of sleep is what we are supposed to get. But for many folks especially that raucous group known as college students eight hours of sleep is a tale of mythology. So in 1998, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital looked to harness the energy that seems to power college students and have them direct it toward supporting research against pediatric cancer.

  Starting in St. Jude's own backyard at the University of Memphis, Up 'til Dawn continues to grow into a powerful fund-raising program that offers college students a chance to help raise funds and awareness for St. Jude.

  Though the letter sending campagin we hope to not only raise a chartable donation but also awareness. Since 2008, Southern Connecticut State University has raised over $35,850! This year we need YOU to help that number grow! Let's do it for the children.
