ABOUT NEW HAVEN

Southern Connecticut State University is located in the city of New Haven, Connecticut. New Haven borders Long Island Sound and is approximately two hours east of New York City and two hours west of Boston. The city of New Haven and the Greater New Haven area offer many points of interest: sandy beaches, historic treasures, spectacular architecture, many unusual museums, beautiful parks and several universities and colleges.

Within a radius of about 75 miles of New Haven there are numerous attractions such as Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, Norwalk Aquarium, Beardsley Zoo, Goodspeed Opera House and Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Resort Casinos.
