Graduate Student Affairs committee
SCSU provides a university-wide graduate student committee (Graduate Student Affairs Committee) to sponsor and support educational, social and cultural activities for the enrichment of graduate student life. In the CSP department, we have an additonal active GSAC department wide group and hold events regularly.
The CSP-GSAC represents, advocates and supports the students in Counseling and School Psychology. We not only provide information on program deadlines, current news and opportunities for research, conference and volunteering, but also raise funds for important charities and sponsor interesting events and speakers. We also help students get together to study, prepare for the comprehensive exams, practicum and internship, applying for work after graduation or just taking a break from work with some friendly company. In order to be a member, you must be a current matriculated student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, and School Psychology.
We wish you the best of success here at Southern Connecticut State University. We look forward to seeing you soon!
