LETTER OF AGREEMENT

Pursuant to Article 10.4 of the Agreement of August 23, 2002, between The Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors, Inc., and the Board of Trustees for The Connecticut State University, and consistent with credit hour assignments for other types of laboratory instruction in Article 9.2, the parties agree that one (1) class hour of language laboratory instruction per week is equal to three-quarters (3/4) hour load credit per semester for each faculty member assigned to a section of the following Foreign Language (e.g., French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Russian or Spanish) courses wherein all enrolled students and the instructor are required to attend one (1) scheduled class hour of laboratory per week in addition to three (3) class hours of lecture: FLA 100, 101, 102, 103, 200, 201, 204, 210, 301, 302, or its equivalent.
