ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for matriculation and admission to the School Health Education Program for the Master of Science degree and initial teaching certification are:

Submitting the graduate school application to the School of Graduate Studies
Submitting all college transcripts to the School of Graduate Studies
Having an undergraduate Q.P.R. of 2.7 or better
Passing the Praxis I exam in reading, writing, and mathematics
Submitting two letters of recommendation
Submit a 250 word essay on why he/she wishes to be a school health teacher
Completing an entrance interview with members of the School Health Education faculty with a mean score of 20 or lower
Submitting the application for admission into the School of Education The requirements for matriculation and admission to the School Health Education Program for the Master of Science degree only or for the Master of Science degree with cross endorsement (indicates that the student is already certified in one area) are:
Submitting the graduate school application to the School of Graduate Studies
Submitting all college transcripts to the School of Graduate Studies
Having an undergraduate Q.P.R of 2.7 or better
