The Executive Committee is charged with the responsibility to "coordinate the activities of the Council and act for the Council in matters of exigency." (Revised Rules of Order, 2005)

The Executive Committee of the Graduate Council is comprised of chairperson of the Graduate Council, chairpersons from the Academic Standards, Curriculum and Procedures standing committees, the Secretary of the Graduate Council, and the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies who serves in an ex-officio capacity. The committee meets on the third Monday of each month (except September, January) during the academic year at 2:00 PM in the School of Graduate Studies conference room.
