Thank you for your interest in the Honors College . We don't have an official application form for the Honors College.

In January, we review the records of incoming freshmen and send them an invitation to attend an "essay day" which is held on campus. Students bring with them an assigned essay we've asked them to write, and they also write a spontaneous essay and participate in a class while on campus. These are all graded and determine the freshman Honors College class.

We hold two essay days on Saturdays.

If you would like to receive an invitation to attend Essay Day, please send your name and mailing address (via e-mail, Honors College) and we will add you to our list.

Invitations are sent out at the end of January.

Monday, February 13, 2006 is the last mailing for the 2006 Essay Day invitations. Please make sure the Admissions Office has received your application by this date to be considered.

Essay Days are Saturday, February 11 and February 25, 2006. They are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
