Welcome to PRC

The SCSU Physics Department Physical Resource Control web site (PRC) allows users convenient access to teaching equipment inventories, standard experimental procedures, lab schedules, facility specifications, and support staff.

Work orders regarding any department-level issue, (particularly teaching apparatus setups), should be submitted here. The “Create Lab Syllabus” function is especially useful in allowing faculty to select from a list of available experiments, and in doing so, automatically schedule the setups.

PRC is primarily for use by Physics Department staff and requires a department-generated username and password. However, physics students or others who wish to view lab syllabi, pictures, and documents related to course experiments may do so without registration by using the “View Syllabi” link in the “Experiments” menu above.

Staff wishing to request a username and password may contact the Physics Department Secretary by phone at 203-392-6450 or use the Registration Request link below. Requests may take several business days to process. Thank you for visiting PRC.
