DC Circuits I focuses on the study of current. Students will construct circuits both in series and in parallel using light bulbs and battery holders. They will use a handheld digital multimeter to measure the current through a light bulb. DC Circuits II focuses on the study of voltage. The students will measure the voltage drop across a light bulb. DC Circuits III focuses on the study of power. The students will measure and compare the power emitted by lightbulbs in both series and parallel circuits.

Make sure the bulbs are #48. Make sure clips on the battery holders are able to hold wire down. Wire should be about 6" in length and stripped end should be unbent. Also, check to ensure that the batteries have good life and that each table has identical batteries. When setting up DC Circuits II and III, put out two handheld digital multimeters.
Make sure that the room has plenty of paper.
