Undergraduate Program

Students interested in pursuing career options in therapeutic recreation may select that emphasis area to facilitate their eligibility for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (N.C.T.R.C.). The area of emphasis for N.C.T.R.C. includes successful completion of Rec. 230, Rec. 331, Rec. 391, Rec. 431, as well as an approved six credit field experience internship (i.e., Rec. 433).
