Laboratory
Facilities and Field Study Sites
Much of my work in environmental studies and environmental education deals with exploring local community contexts, mapping and environmental data collection and outdoor activities development for k12 teaching and learning.
Our laboratory (which I share with Dr. Vincent Breslin) is located in Jennings Hall 339 . The laboratory
is equipped with materials and supplies, bech stations with sinks, and hoods necessary for the conduct
of our studies of habitats, ecology, and environmental parametrs such as soils, water quality, weather, and biodiversity.

Much of our environmental systems inquiry work is done in the field: in the immediate outside - on SCSU campus (aerial view below), and at a few select remote sites such as alongthe West River, along the Cove River, and beacches of West Haven, and at Outer Island.
