The Education Department focuses on some of the most exciting and complex years of a student's life -- the early years, when skills of perception and comprehension are still developing. This is the most formative time of an individual's life, and those who wish to enter into elementary education have the opportunity to guide young minds through these first and imperative steps on the path to lifelong learning. Whether as a future educator you choose to start at the very beginning of this process with a degree from the Early Childhood program, or to continue in the elementary grades K-6, or to help exceptional students reach their potential with a degree from the Collaborative Elementary Education/Special Education program, your role as an educator will be as unique and expansive as each child's mind you encounter.
