Admissions

Admission criteria include the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to complete academic work as demonstrated through B.A./B.S. and M.A./M.S. transcripts
  • Leadership potential as attested to in three letters of recommendation
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (for information regarding the GRE, click here) 
  • A "Statement of Interest" describing why the candidate wishes to enter the program, how current and past professional experiences have led to this goal, and how the Ed.D. fits into the candidate's future plans
  • Evidence of effective written and verbal communication and seriousness of purpose as evidenced in an in-person interview and writing exercise
