Master of science in elementary education
Students pursuing a Master of Science in education must be already certified by the state in order to participate in this program.
Required Courses:
- EDF 520 or 526 - Educational Foundations
- EDU 539* - Child Development for Elementary Grade Teachers or PSY 511 - Advanced Developmental Psychology
- EDU 592 - Research in Education or RSM 591 - Educational Measurement for Classroom Teachers
- 15-24 credits in electives
- Students must choose a planned program that includes either a thesis, a comprehensive exam, or a field project.
