Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach graduate-level school psychology courses (may include: assessment, counseling, consultation, intervention or behavior management courses), supervise students within the field sites, pursue scholarship and a research agenda, participate in curriculum and program development, collaborate with school and agency partners, and serve on department and university committees.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have earned a doctorate in School Psychology by the time of appointment. Candidate should present evidence of experience as a school psychologist who has practiced in schools. Evidence of ability to teach at the university level effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
A demonstrated record of scholarship/creative activity is an asset. Candidates should highlight the ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity, leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the discipline. National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP), or demonstrated eligibility for such, is also desired. An earned doctorate from a NASP-approved program is preferred.
