Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
The normal teaching load is four courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses in leadership and organizational development, curriculum, supervision, finance, law, and/or district instructional improvement, and participate in activities that advance the department's mission serve as teacher and advisor in the doctoral program. Department grants one course reassigned time every other year to be devoted to scholarly research or creative activity.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have: 1) an earned doctorate from an accredited institution; 2) demonstrated experience as an educational leader, 3) teaching experience at the doctoral level, 4) served on doctoral dissertation committees, 5) demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations, 6) evidence of ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity, leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals
Preferred Qualifications:
P-12 teaching/leadership experience, 2) knowledge and skills in contemporary school reform, 3) applied knowledge of quantitative research methods, 4) demonstrated use of technology to enhance student learning.
