Specialization (s):  Modern Latin American History 
Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate survey courses in colonial and modern Latin America as well as advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in modern Latin American history.   All faculty share student advising and committee responsibilities.  

Required Qualifications:  Candidates will possess a PhD in Latin American history from a regionally-accredited university by the time of the appointment and will show evidence of excellent potential in both teaching and scholarship. 
Preferred Qualifications:  Candidates with experience and/or interest in supervising secondary education/ social studies certification students are encouraged to apply.
