Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:  Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory surveys, advanced courses and graduate level courses in US History, with a focus on the 20th century.  All faculty share student advising and committee responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:  Candidates will possess Ph.D. in US History from a regionally-accredited university by the time of appointment and will show evidence of excellent potential in both teaching and scholarship.

Preferred Qualifications:  Candidates with teaching experience and a demonstrated record of scholarship are especially encouraged to apply.
