The Department of Political Science seeks to fill one tenure track position. Applicants with specializations in Comparative Politics, Research Methods or Urban Affairs will be considered.
Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
Faculty member will teach introductory courses, courses in their specialization of Political Science, and the capstone seminar in Political Science by arrangement. The teaching load is 12 hours (3 preparations) per semester. Faculty members also serve on department and university committees, advise students, and maintain and active research agenda.
Required Qualifications:
At least ABD, with earned doctorate by time of appointment. Strong commitment to teaching excellence and scholarly activity required.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD with teaching experience and a record of scholarly activity preferred. Ability to teach in alternative modes of delivery (i.e. on-line) also preferred.
