Part-Time Lecturer Sociology
There are a few adjuncts needed in sociology for Fall 12:
-Instructor with at least a Master's degree in Sociology is needed to teach an online section of SOC 201, Social Statistics, for Fall 12. Strong background in statistical knowledge and online teaching experience preferred.
-Instructor with at least a Master's Degree in Sociology is sought to teach one sections of SOC 265, Self and Society, for Fall 12. This course explores how society impacts the individual and how the individual impacts society through micro, symbolic interactionist and phenomenological processes. The times of the course (which cannot be changed) are Monday and Wednesday 3:25-4:40 PM, and Tuesday 5-7:30 PM.
-Instructor needed for SOC 556, Juvenile Delinquency, a Master's level course. Class will meet 5-7:30 PM on Tuesdays; day and time are not negotiable. Instructor must have a Ph.D in Sociology or Criminology/Criminal Justice.
-Instructor(s) with at least a Master's Degree in Sociology are sought to teach 1-2 sections of SOC 102, Exploring Social Issues, for Fall 12. This course is part of the SCSU new Liberal Education Program, and imparts skills in critical thinking and argument construction. The times of the courses (which cannot be changed) are Tuesday and Thursday 1:50-3:05 PM, Tuesday 5-7:30 PM, and Monday and Wednesday 2-3:15 PM.
