TITLE: Campus One Card Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Finance and Administration
Administers and promotes the "one card" system, including production of all campus identification cards, the management of the debit card system, the service relationship between the University and off-campus vendors, and the coordination of the operation and maintenance of the data associated with the system. Responsibilities include: Oversee the daily operation of the University Card Office, including supervision of staff related to the production of ID cards, troubleshoot the debit card equipment, software and wiring and arrange for the reliable maintenance, operation and networking of all related equipment, maintain the database and all necessary system records, perform reconciliation processes, maintain office website, promote and market associated services, and negotiate and oversee off-campus vendor contracts. A Bachelor's degree in management, finance, accounting, or a related area required along with three years experience in financial systems reporting and/or operation and three years experience with finance and personal computer systems. The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge in financial reporting and effective communication skills. TITLE: Multimedia Assistant DEPARMENT: Information Technology
Southern Connecticut State University seeks a Multimedia Assistant. Under the supervision of the Coordinator of High Tech Classrooms and Audio Visual Media Services, the Multimedia Assistant provides services in multimedia technology and creative design of materials for the University and others.
Manages the production and distribution of administrative multimedia projects/programs by determining appropriate recording methods, equipment requirements, production schedule, and delivery/presentation system. Assists in presentation (facility) system set-ups and equipment operation related to multimedia projects. Provides comprehensive multimedia application support to the University community. Trains appropriate staff and students in advanced equipment operations and maintenance, as necessary. Maintains the technical quality control of multimedia material being generated for distribution.
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Communications, or other related field. This position requires one to three years experience with multimedia technology and software. Knowledge of current industry technical standards to successfully edit, author, and implement and distribute content through an array of media formats for CD-ROM, DVD, and other storage media systems. Experience producing formats for viewing multimedia content on the World Wide Web and plug-ins, coding, compression, and video and audio bit rate standards. Proficient background in using Macintosh platforms and operating systems as well as PC platforms and operating systems. Working experience in the operation of various multimedia presentation equipment including audio systems, video systems, data projectors, and screens. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects. Must have creative and editorial judgment and familiarity with journalistic ethics, copyright, and libel laws. Must have customer service skills and substantial working experience dealing with faculty, students, staff, and external clients. Flexible work hours required, including holidays, weekends, and evenings. These qualifications may be waived for individuals with appropriate alternate experience.

TITLE: Director Of Publications
DEPARTMENT: Public Affairs
To direct and coordinate the writing, editing, and production of University publications, and oversee the graphics and design studio and marketing initiatives in the Office of Public Affairs.
Qualifications: At least five years desktop publishing experience in an academic or professional setting. Three years of supervisory or comparable experience. Working knowledge of marketing trends and branding initiatives. Experience with writing and editing for professional and academic publications a plus. Experience in preparing University view books, recruitment bulletins, registration bulletins, and institutional and annual reports desirable. Macintosh desktop publishing experience required. Strong working knowledge of QuarkXpress and InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and related programs on a Macintosh platform desirable. A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred. TITLE: Program Assistant (Administrator II) DEPARTMENT: Department of Educational Leadership
The Department of Educational Leadership is looking to fill the position of Program Assistant (Administrator II).
The position includes assisting the Chairperson of the department and the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program with the overall operation of the department including managing the day to day activities, assisting with admissions, researching information, preparing reports and student handbooks, developing and overseeing student data bases, maintaining the department's website and promoting the department.
Under the direction of the Chair, the Program Assistant develops and establishes an administrative system for the department as well as oversees the office staff.
Qualifications include: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred. Experience with K-12 teacher/administrative preparation programs a plus. Demonstrated ability to establish office systems and procedures; work effectively with students and faculty; manage multiple tasks, analyze problems and recommend effective solutions. Effective communication skills including the ability to write well. Qualifications may be waived for individuals with appropriate alternate experience.

TITLE: Database Support Specialist DEPARTMENT: Institutional Advancement
Under the supervision of the Director of Advancement Services, the Database Support Specialist will provide ongoing coordination and technical support of the Alumni and Development software (SCT Banner) and any other software required to advance the development/fund raising and alumni efforts of the University. The incumbent will also assist with projects within the Office of Institutional Advancement and work directly with
the Advancement team as assigned.
Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise to improve database integrity and enhance information retrieval through advanced report writing skills. Serve as Team Leader for Development/Alumni software programs to include implementing post-live projects, troubleshooting, and developing working strategies for technical reporting and operational requirements. Advise management of potential system enhancements and utilization necessary to support growing university office. Design reports for all Development and Alumni related projects relative to various fund raising activities; prepare data for outsourcing information to vendors; train end users in the appropriate usage of software; revise policy and procedure manuals and maintain system upgrades.
Qualifications: This position requires report-writing experience using tools such as Brio or SQL against a relational database (ex. Oracle) and a high level of proficiency with MS Office. Individual must possess a high degree of technical expertise and critical thinking/problem solving skills. Experience with Banner or PeopleSoft is a plus. Experience in higher education a plus. TITLE: Assistant Director of Annual Giving DEPARTMENT: Institutional Advancement
Southern Connecticut State University ("SCSU"), seeks an accomplished individual with 3 years of experience in higher education, to serve as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving. This position will report to the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement and will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising programs for the solicitation of annual gifts from alumni, parents and friends through direct mail and telephone appeals and other appropriate means. As a member of the Development team, this person will interact with faculty and staff to identify and support SCSU's priorities, and annual giving donors and volunteers. This person will collaborate with others of the institutional advancement staff to further the growth of a comprehensive development program.

TITLE: Emergency Management Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: University Police
Southern Connecticut State University Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the Emergency Management Coordinator IV position. Under the supervision of the Chief of Police/Director of Public Safety, the Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that support a safe environment for staff, students and visitors at the University. The Coordinator will monitor these programs which include emergency incident management, campus wide emergency response, training drills for emergency management and communication materials related to emergency management.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an area such as Public Safety of related field. Familiar with the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS). Three to five years of experience in the management of emergency response, and emergency management required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. TITLE: Director of Student Health Services
