A Celebration in Honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On behalf of the Multicultural Center at Southern Connecticut State University, you are cordially invited to come celebrate the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The program will feature keynote speaker, Mayor Scott Jackson of Hamden (left), who will speak on "The Role of Media Images in the Quest for Equality."

In addition to the keynote speaker, there will be a performance by professional monologist Tiffany Bailey, who will portray Coretta Scott King in a monologue about her husband, family and the fight for civil rights. The program will conclude with an energetic and electrifying performance by the ever-popular and dynamic SCSU Steppin Up Drill Team.
