Film and Discussion: "The Geography of Genocide in Bosnia"
This film (55 min.) explores moral and geographic dimensions of the genocide during the Bosnian War that took place from 1992-1995. Discussion with filmmakers follows. The film was made by Jonah Quickmire Pettigrew and Dr. David Pettigrew. Jonah graduated from Wilbur Cross High School (New Haven) in 2004 and NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Film) in 2008. Dr. Pettigrew teaches philosophy at Southern. Sponsored by the Geography Club and Depts. of Philosophy and Geography as part of Geography Awareness Week.
