Graphic Narrative Panels

scsu comicsGraphic Narrative Panels at the 10th Annual SCSU Graduate English Conference:

"Subcultures, Semiotics, Sexualities, and Superheroes: Textual/Pictorial Methodologies in Graphic Narrative Media"

SCSU hosts a series of Graphic Narrative Panels at the 10th Annual Southern Connecticut State University Graduate English Conference. These panels -- on the graphic novel, comics, and other forms of narrative/sequential art -- are conceived as opportunities for people in the comics community -- readers, creators, and scholars -- to get together, discuss, and think about the thing that they love. The panel's goal is to solicit the involvement of a broad cross-section of participants. It is not restricted to students and scholars. Three sessions, with about three to four speakers in each session, will each last about 90 minutes.
