Local grassroots organizations have always played a key role in American environmentalism. That role is expanding as growing numbers of environmentalists question the ability of federal and state initiatives to address challenges such as resource depletion and climate change. Find out what the members of this panel are doing to advance environmental agendas at the local level, and find out how you can get involved.

Topics will include food production, energy, transportation, and environmental justice, among others.
