Symphonic Band Benefit Concert

Southern's Symphonic Band, led by Music Director Craig Hlavac, is set to perform at the seventh annual Dominican Republic Mission Team Fundraiser. 

This year's show is called "Everything." In the past the fundraiser has attracted over 900 people. 

All proceeds will benefit the 125 local people planning to travel to the Dominican Republic this summer to help the very poor.

In addition to the show, there will be a full pasta dinner served from 5-6:30 p.m., and a huge silent auction featuring all kinds of donated services and items.

This year's event is on target to be even bigger and better than in the past.  In addition to SCSU's Symphonic Band, the "Everything" show will feature the FBC's Ma Cappella, The Radical Youth Band, "Raise the Praise" Kids Choir, Dan Rose, SiLOam, and the "Everything" drama.
