Poetry & Fiction Reading
Dana Sonnenschein and Robin Troy's snowed out poetry and fiction reading has been rescheduled.
Sonnenschein's first chapbook, "Corvus," won the Quentin R. Howard Prize, and her second, "No Angels But These," was chosen for Main
Street Rag's Editor's Choie series (2005). Her first full-length
collection is forthcoming from Word Press in December 2006. She teaches writing and literature at Southern.
Robin Troy is in her first year as an assistant professor of fiction at
Southern. A Connecticut native, she comes to Southern via Montana, where
she earned her MFA from the University of Montana and worked as a staff writer
for the Missoula Independent newspaper. Her first novel, "Floating," was the winner of MTV's Write Stuff fiction contest, and she has work forthcoming in Narrative magazine and Seal Press anthology, Woman's Best Friend.
For more information, contact Tim Parrish at (203) 392-6745 or
parrisht1@southernct.edu. This event is free and open to the public due to
the generous support of the Department of Arts and Sciences and the
university administration.
