CHARGE to USPaRC
The University Strategic Plan Review Committee (USPaRC) has been charged by President
Norton to monitor the progress of the implementation of the University Strategic Plan
to ensure that the university stays on course in achieving the stated goals of the
plan. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the President.
USPaRC shall meet at least twice a year to discuss the implementation of the strategic
plan and the relative progress being made toward achieving the stated goals and objectives.
Where sufficient progress on goals and objectives is not being made, it shall be the
responsibility of the Committee to try to identify the impediments to success and
provide advice, where appropriate, for removing the impediments, whether they are
human, technical, organizational, or financial.
Maintaining the spirit of openness and transparency that characterized the University
Strategic Planning process, USPaRC shall both solicit from, and share information
