Evening Pot Luck Gatherings

Join with long-time colleagues or make new friends in a friendly, supportive, comfortable and out environment! Sometimes we have a large group and other times we enjoy a smaller and more intimate one for wide-ranging conversation. Either way, you'll find the group congenial and fun.

All evening gatherings are held 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Adanti Student Center, Room 326. Please bring a snack or beverage to share if you can.

Upcoming dates for our Spring 2014 evening gatherings include:

Bagged Lunch Series

We realize not everyone can make it to the evening gatherings, which is why we have decided to start an alternate bring-your-own-lunch series. Come join colleagues for lunchtime discussion and fellowship right in the Office of Faculty Development, Engleman Hall, Room B 106, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Upcoming dates for our Spring 2014 lunch series include:

"No Barilla" Drop-by Pasta and Halloween Treats Party

Thurday, October 31--Anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.--Office of Faculty Development, Engleman B 106

The Faculty Development team will be serving Halloween treats along with their homemade pasta recipes that do not use Barilla brand pasta to show their support for diverse families.

All SCSU faculty and staff are invited!

Stop by anytime during our hours noted above, meet the OFD staff, and enjoy some great homemade dishes and hospitality!

Out at Work

Join us for a screening of the documentary "Out at Work," a film which chronicles the dramatic stories of three gay workers over the course of five years and raises critical issues about workplace rights, the role of legislation and labor union and, ultimately, human rights for all.
