Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach graduate level school psychology courses (may
include: assessment, counseling, consultation, intervention or behavior management
courses), supervise students within field sites, pursue scholarship and a research
agenda, participate in curriculum and program development, collaborate with school
and agency partners, and serve on department and university committees.
Required Qualifications:
Applicant must have earned a doctorate in School Psychology from a NASP approved program
by the time of appointment. Candidate should present evidence of experience as a school
psychologist who has practiced in schools. Evidence of ability to teach at the university
level effectively. Ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity leading
to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals
in the discipline. National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP).
