Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
The School of Business has been experiencing significant growth in recent years, with increasing enrollment and significant external fundraising success. The university is conveniently located between Boston and New York City. The successful candidate will be expected to teach finance courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels. Faculty are expected to teach courses in their discipline, share in advising and committee responsibilities and are expected to engage in research as well.

Applicants are expected to have an earned doctorate in finance, financial economics or a related field, although strong ABD candidates will be considered. Earned doctorate must be completed within two years of appointment. Must provide evidence of ability to teach finance courses at the university level effectively to a diverse group of undergraduate and MBA. Must be willing to teach on ground, online and hybrid courses. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity, leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals in their discipline. Ability to meet faculty qualification standards under AACSB standards is required.
Preference will be given to candidates who also have teaching experience, experience working with the business community and/or evidence of scholarly activity.
