Specialization(s):  The Department of Management and MIS has one tenure-track positions open in management, specifically in the areas of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Small Business, Business and Society, and/or Sustainability.

Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:

Candidates will be expected to teach courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, they will conduct scholarly research, serve on committees, and advise students. One of the position's responsibilities will include working with Connecticut State University partners.

Required Qualifications:

Management applicants require a research doctorate in management or related field, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD applicants will be considered. All candidates must demonstrate evidence of ability to teach effectively at the university level to a diverse group of undergraduate and MBA students. In addition, candidates must demonstrate an ability to engage in meaningful scholarship, leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals in their discipline. It is critically important that the candidate be considered Academically Qualified or Professionally Qualified under AACSB standards or their new equivalent. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who also have an MBA (in addition to the required qualifications), teaching experience, and evidence of scholarly activity.
