To promote excellence in the scholarly endeavors, research, programs, and service activities of faculty, staff and students and to enhance the educational mission of the institution by:
Providing resources and training to prospective Grantees and assist them in finding funders, producing quality proposals, and submitting them on a timely basis with appropriate approvals and formatting.
Securing funding for institutional initiatives through the submission of professionally researched, developed and written proposals to appropriate public, government, and private funding sources.
Developing and fostering positive relationships with funding sources that will increase the likelihood of receiving grant awards.
Protecting the University's interests through grant management activities in the pre and post award areas that ensure management support of proposed activities and successful fiscal and programmatic performance of awards.
