CSU Research Grants

Purpose:

To provide faculty with research opportunities that will enhance the educational mission, visibility, and research stature of Connecticut State University.

Who is eligible:

Full-time faculty including those planning sabbatical, but not faculty on unpaid leave.

What will you receive:

Up to $5,000 to be used between the date of the award and June 30th of the following year. Recipients must file a report by a set date.

How to apply:

Guidelines are e-mailed to faculty. The 2006-7 guidelines are available at the SPAR News page in PDF and Word formats. Proposals are evaluated by a committee of readers drawn from the four CSU campuses.

When to apply:

Deadlines are early in the spring semester (in 2006, the deadline is February 1). Dates and procedures are published annually in the CSU Research Grants guidelines and distributed via e-mail to faculty. Awards are announced in the spring.
